Apparently, Activision is suing some regular, every day people who pirated some copies of Call of Duty 3, seeking settlements between $1,000 and $100,000.
That's ridiculous, in the humble opinion of this blogger. I understand that these guys broke the law by making these copies, but this is nothing if not excessive.
Proof positive that we need to rethink the way we persecute-er, I mean prosecute- pirates.
